Hello and welcome to the Brandrick Ancestry forum! It's now been 4 months since I launched this facility and excluding my own 2 admin accounts, so far 12 people have registered and 4 have made posts on the forum. Not exactly a buzzing online community ... but its a start . With the Christmas holiday period now over, we've also had a total of 816 hits on the BRANDRICK ANCESTRY website since its initial launch several years ago. I guess it's fair to say that we have a lot of what I'll call 'Stealth' visitors out there and that's fine. Of course, everyone is free to come and go as they please and not everyone wants to do anything more than have a quick browse. If you go to the trouble of registering an account please don't be shy. You might also consider introducing yourself by posting here, so that others can get an idea of who the person is behind the Forum Name. Nothing to elaborate or personal, just a brief account of who you are and what in particular prompted your visit to BRANDRICK ANCESTRY. It would also be useful if you could state how you found the website. When making your Intro, you might consider copying and pasting the following headings to use as a guide: ABOUT ME:I'M INTERESTED IN BRANDRICK ANCESTRY BECAUSE:I FOUND THE BRANDRICK ANCESTRY WEBSITE BY:Anyway, thanks for registering and please keep coming back. You never know what you might find!

Mark,
I think this is a great way to try and get to know each other and exchange "family tree" information.
Thanks for all the hard work you must have put in to this already.

Hi Rosemary, Thanks for Registering. I have a very good friend that moved to Melbourne last year - he works for Guide Dogs for the Blind. They are loving every minute of their new lives out in Oz which is great ... but also bad ... I'm not going to see him again for a long time . I'll have a look for Edmund Thomas Brandrick in my Database tomorrow and let you know what I have. Thanks again, Mark

Hi Rosemary, Sorry for not replying sooner - I forgot! I have checked my database and I have nothing on a Edmund Thomas BRANDRICK, however, I do have 4 x Edmunds but none of them are listed as married to a Dorothy Jean. My most recent (and dare I say most promising) record pertains to Edmund born 1866 in Heatley, Abbots Bromley. Baptized 1867. Moved to Australia 1909 and died and buried in Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia 1943. I have quite a bit of info on this particular individual because I have been in contact with a living relative that still lives in Abbots Bromley. Do these details look familiar? Mark

I Googled Brandwick and got the website. On a family Death Certificate of JANE JONES Victoria 1916 the lady's father was stated as JOSEPH BRANDWICK Stove maker. Mother's name was BRADFORD. Jane Jones was born in Staffordshire. She was born 1847. Married Charles GADSBY 1860 and had three children born England: CHARLES GADSBY 1871 ISABELLA died JESSIE 1876. Charles Gadsby must have died because Jane married Samuel JONES in England 1885 no children. She came to Victoria. Jessie married my grandfather William Edward EMBURY 1894.

Hello, not sure if this forum is still going but I just came across whilst researching my family tree. My Grandfather was John Alan Brandrick, from Hanley, son of John Thomas Brandrick, who was the son of Charles Brandrick. Hello all!
