ABOUT ME:My name is Mark Brandrick and I'm the web master of BRANDRICK ANCESTRY. I currently live in London, UK and am married (17 years) with 2 great kids (Tom 13, Emily 9). As you've probably seen in the Gallery, below is a picture of my family and I, which was taken in 1995 just after the birth of Tom (I'm the tall one stood at the back). Sadly, my Grandad (2005) and Great Gran (2007) are both now deceased but still fondly remembered. My biggest regret is that for one reason or another, I never had the opportunity to find out more about my family history from my Great Gran. I'M INTERESTED IN BRANDRICK ANCESTRY BECAUSE:Well the front page of the website says it all really, so I won't bore you all again. I FOUND THE BRANDRICK ANCESTRY WEBSITE BY:Not really applicable ... I made it

Hi Pam, Thanks for asking (and thanks to my Dad for dropping that one in! ) ... I might reciprocate but my work pales into insignificance compared to your own. Furthermore, I haven’t painted or drawn anything for many years – I just don’t seem to have the time or the space these days. There's also the problem of scanning A3 art work on an A4 scanner ... but I suppose I could use a camera :/ Oh well, no excuses really are there. LOL I'll see what I can do. Mark

I'm not sure how to use this site - I'm new to research - my grandfather was Horace Norman Brandrick (AWESOME MAN) he was born 9/23/1898 - his father was William Brandrick, mother Sarah Catherine Walker - I'm looking for information about this family. If you can help I would greatly appreciate it - thank you, Sincerely, Susie Shipley (ksshipleyfamily@gmail.com)

Hi Susie, Thanks for registering and getting in touch. Also, sorry for the delay in my reply. Shipley is certainly a name I recognise and goes back a long way. I have 7 listed in the family database going back to 1785. With regard to the Brandricks you mention I think I have your Grandfather Horace listed in PED2 on the main part of the website (at this link www.brandrick.co.uk/html/ped_2.html). Visit the page and then search (press CTRL and F together for the search dialogue box) for his name and you'll find him. He's listed near the bottom in the 8th Generation. I have a different date of birth for him but my source may be wrong. Do you have a birth certificate for him? Furthermore, according to Bramshall Parish Records Horace married Doris CHOULS on 26 Dec 1921 (Boxing Day!). Does this sound right? That said, I have very little further info as I'm not sure how William (your great grandfather) connects into the other families in the database. In fact the details of William's wife Sarah are completely new to me. I'd be very interested in adding any further info you have to the database. Hope to hear from you again soon. Best regards, Mark

Hi sjmorrow, thanks for the contact info. I recognised the email address and checked the list of members to find Anne already registered on the forum as 'injestre' in Nov 07. In response to your post I have contacted her to find out if she's interested in collaborating. Thanks for the suggestion.
