We're trying to track down a James Brandrick that moved to New York with his family in the late 1800's from England. His family moved without him to Canada and that's the last we know of him.
He would, obviously, be deceased.

Here's a picture of James and Louisa Brandrick with their three children. It was the spring of 1891 when they moved to the U.S. They settled in New Rochelle, New York. And, it was 1910 when there was a split in the family. The two youngest children were born in New York. The eldest one was born in Leicester.

I am the great grand daughter of James Brandrick and the grand daughter of Ella Violet Bell (nee Brandrick) who was born in 1894. I was wondering if anyone has any information on her mother Louisa (Nee Radcliffe or Ratcliffe) as to where and when she was born. Also, if she had any brothers or sisters and who her parents were and where they were born. Hope someone can help me with my family tree. Jamie's Dad (Russell) and my DAD (Albert Bell) are cousins. Hope to hear from you soon. Sandra

Hi Sandra, My father-in-law Eric is your Dad's cousin also. It's nice to meet you.
I have some information, unconfirmed, on Louisa. Jamie's Aunt Irene gave me the information so you might want to give her a call. Louisa had a sister, Lily, and a brother, Fred. Apparently Lily married a Birch and had at least one daughter, Olive, who married a Fauset and had two sons, Russell and Peter. I tried writing to the last known address and it came back from the current occupant saying that nobody there remembered the people I was looking for. I tried a little research online but was on dial-up at the time and didn't have any success. If you find any new information at all, would you please share it with me?

Hi Pam Sorry I haven't been back to this site for a while. Where do you live? I'm in Prince Albert, Sk. Canada. My email address is bellmorrow@sasktel.net if you would like to contact me by email. I find it a lot easier that way to exchange info. If you want to give me your email address I can send you some info that I recieved from a lady in England. She has sent me a lot of stuff about the Brandricks. Hope to hear from you soon!! Sandra
